    Aloha! I received this info from my friend and colleague who is a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. I am just passing this along. Deadline is May 1. Application and flyer is attached. Details from the application regarding criteria:

    Selection Criteria:

    1. Scholarships are open to male students in the following categories:

    o Senior high school students who live or attend high schools (public & private)

    on the island of Oahu.

    o An undergraduate college student/trade or vocational school student that

    graduated within the last three years from a high school in Hawaii and

    continuing their education.

    2. An eligible candidate must have a 3.00-grade point average (GPA) or better on a

    4.0 Scale.

    3. An eligible candidate must be enrolling as a full-time student in a 2 or 4-year

    accredited college or university in the fall semester.

    4. Eligible students must:

    o Complete the Personal Information section

    o Upload a high school, college, or vocational school transcript.

    o Upload your standardized test scores (SAT/ACT). Note: required for high

    school seniors only

    o Write an essay of no more than 500 words.

    o Complete a detailed listing of all extracurricular activities.

    o Complete the section on community service/volunteer activity summary.

    o Upload at least three letters of recommendation.

    o Upload letters of acceptance to college, university, or trade school.
