    The Hawai'i Association for College Admission Counseling (HACAC), in partnership with HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union, will be hosting a FAFSA Completion Workshop to file and submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

    This FREE workshop is open to seniors (class of 2020) and their families as well as college sophomores, juniors, seniors, and their families.

    Students/families are not required to stay during the entire duration of the workshop. You may leave once your FAFSA has been filed.

    Encourage your interested students to stop by. Students are encouraged to bring their portfolio for reviews by admission officers. Students should present their portfolios in a digital format on their iPads or laptops.

    Priority will be given to seniors who will be applying for the Fall of 2020, but this is an excellent opportunity for younger students to get an idea of the portfolio process.

    This program is free of charge for students and there is no registration necessary.

    For School Year (SY) 2019-2020, Hawaii P-20 will be accepting requests for bus funding from GEAR UP eligible schools that have at least 50% of students receiving free and reduced-priced meals.

    The purpose of this funding is to enable students to be prepared for college and/or careers. Activities supported by this funding should expose students to various choices, options, requirements and/or pathways related to college or selected careers. All activities need to align with Hawaii P-20 college access and enrollment strategies:

    1) Improve college and career readiness through early academic preparation;
    2) Expand college-level learning opportunities for high school students;
    3) Increase access to postsecondary options for every student; and
    4) Increase postsecondary enrollment and successful first-year completion
